New version of SublightCmd is now available for download (version 0.2.3).

What's new:

SublightCmd downloadbatch (update)
- when searching subtitles for single language, language code is not appended in subtitle filename,
- added new optional parameter: /password:value
- added new optional switch: /alwaysAppendLanguageCode
SublightCmd register (new)
- registers new Sublight username (can be used in downloadbatch command or by Sublight client)

Sample Command Lines

Register new Sublight username:

SublightCmd.exe register USERNAME
Download English and Slovenian subtitles for all movies in folder "C:\MyMovies" and all its subfolders (SublightCmd asks you for your password):

SublightCmd.exe downloadbatch "C:\MyMovies" "*.avi;*.mkv" "en"+"sl" /recursive:true /username:"USERNAME"

New version of Sublight is now available for download.

What's new:

updated some codec logos,
multithreaded search (for really fast search),
Profile/User Log (for viewing real time scoring system log),
updated UI translations (thanks to Sublight translators),
fixed some UI bugs (thanks to Juan Vílchez).

In future we would like to see more localized versions of Sublight. If you would like to help us with translation then please do not hesitate to contact us. We are especially interested in these languages (other languages are of course also very welcome):

Portuguese,
Dutch,
German,
Italian,
Swedish.

Every translator receives bonus points and acknowledgment in Sublight "About box" ;)

Sublight server has now new feature: real time scoring system.

With this new feature we can easily distinguish between active users (users who contribute to Sublight with subtitle publishing, subtitle linking, ...) and passive users (users who are just downloading subtitles).

System can also give penalty points for publishing bad subtitles or making bad movie links.

Current scoring system:

Action	Points
Subtitle download	-1
Subtitle published	+25
Subtitle edited	+5
Subtitle approved	+25
Subtitle deleted	-100
Movie link added	+1
Movie link deleted	-10

Anonymous users and registered users with negative points can currently normally use our service. In future this can be changed (for example they could wait 30 seconds to download subtitle, etc.).

You may ask why did we introduce such system. Answer is very simple: we want to increase quality of our service and ensure fair use.

New version of Sublight is now available for download.

What's new:

Macedonian translation (thanks to prijatel-MKD),
added "Batch subtitle download..." option to Explorer context menu (see also previous article),
translations can now be directly edited by users:
- list of languages is defined in "{app}\Sublight\Translations.xml" file,
- actual translations can be found in "{app}\Sublight\Translations\Translation.LANG_CODE.xml" files
